250 St Vincent Street is a multi-storey residential development in Glasgow, incorporating apartments alongside a range of shared resident facilities. Working with Clark Contracts, Norsign delivered the internal signage package across the building, creating a coordinated wayfinding system to help residents and visitors navigate between floors, apartments and communal spaces.

A combination of large feature floor numbers and directory signage gives each level a clear identity and helps users understand where they are as soon as they enter the circulation areas.
The feature numbers were installed within both stair cores, providing immediate floor identification, while larger directories show the relationship between levels, apartment ranges and shared facilities.
Smaller directories continue the wayfinding at key decision points, directing residents towards individual groups of apartments and facilities without relying on oversized signage throughout the corridors. The system covers destinations including lounges, the gym, cinema, private dining room and other shared spaces as well as residential accommodation.

Rather than treating identification and wayfinding as separate elements, the signage uses a consistent material and colour palette throughout the building. Feature numbers were manufactured from 19mm Valchromat, while the main directories, smaller wayfinding signs and door signs use CNC cut Valchromat with painted finishes and printed graphics.
The Cobalt Blue finish used across the as built signage creates a strong visual link between the different sign types, allowing apartment numbers, room identification and directional information to work as one coordinated system. Door signage then provides the final level of identification for apartments and facilities, while manifestation to glazed areas was also incorporated into the overall package.

By coordinating the signage as a complete package, Norsign helped ensure the wayfinding became part of the interior rather than a collection of individual signs.
