Norsign Group Ltd delivered a comprehensive internal and external signage package for St Leonard’s Catholic School on behalf of BAM Construction, supporting the new school environment with clear wayfinding, branded feature signage, and large scale building identification.

The project combined architectural external lettering with a substantial internal signage scheme designed to improve navigation throughout the building while maintaining a consistent visual identity across the site.
Externally, the works included fabricated aluminium building mounted lettering finished in black powder coat, incorporating both low and high level signage to identify the school and sports entrance. The larger entrance signage was manufactured with 50mm returns and installed using specialist access equipment due to the scale and positioning of the signs.
Internally, the package included over 200 room identification signs, directional and level wayfinding signage across multiple formats and sizes, large format directory boards, stainless steel engraved door tags, and a large scale digitally printed wall graphic.
All internal signage was manufactured using anti-glare acrylic panels with reverse applied digital print and standoff fixings, creating a clean and durable finish suitable for a high traffic education environment.

Due to the scale and variety of signage throughout the school, close coordination was required across the design, manufacture, and installation stages. Norsign worked alongside BAM Construction to manage drawing approvals, surveys, sequencing, and installation logistics across the programme.
Particular attention was given to consistency across sign families, positioning, fixing methods, and legibility to ensure the signage scheme remained functional, easy to navigate, and visually aligned throughout the building.
The inclusion of bespoke wall graphics and architectural lettering also helped elevate the overall user experience, balancing practical wayfinding requirements with strong visual impact.
