Orbiston Community Hub is a modern, multi-use community building designed to support a wide range of local services and activities. Working with main contractor Morgan Sindall and architect Keppie Design, Norsign delivered a signage package that supports both the building’s identity and its day-to-day usability.
integrated design
Norsign developed, manufactured and installed a full signage and graphics package tailored to the architectural intent of the building. External works included built up and flat cut building text alongside post mounted wayfinding, creating clear site navigation and a strong visual identity on approach.
Internally, the scheme incorporated directories, door signs and manifestation graphics, designed to support intuitive wayfinding throughout the space. Wall graphics and acoustic panels were integrated to enhance both the visual environment and user experience, ensuring the signage worked as part of the wider interior design rather than sitting separately.
collaborative delivery
Close coordination with Morgan Sindall and Keppie Design ensured the signage aligned with programme requirements and installation sequencing. Early engagement allowed for efficient planning of fixing methods, locations and interfaces with other trades, reducing the risk of rework on site.
Norsign managed the process from manufacture through to installation, maintaining quality control and ensuring all elements were delivered safely and in line with project expectations. The result is a signage scheme that supports building users while complementing the overall design.
clear integration
A fully coordinated signage and graphics package that enhances navigation, supports accessibility, and integrates seamlessly with the architectural vision of Orbiston Community Hub.
