Blyth Culture Hub is a new landmark destination designed to bring together performance, cinema and community spaces within a single, highly visible building. Norsign Group Ltd were appointed by Kier Group to manufacture and install a comprehensive internal and external signage package that supports wayfinding and user experience throughout the hub.
integrated signage
Working closely with Kier Group, Norsign delivered a varied signage package combining architectural brand signage, illuminated features and clear internal wayfinding. External elements included built-up stainless-steel lettering, large scale illuminated vertical flag signs and illuminated logo signage, carefully coordinated with the building façade and structural requirements.
Internally, illuminated opal lettering on rails, screen identification signage, wall mounted panels, hanging signs and poster cases were manufactured to provide clarity and consistency across public areas. Detailed room signage and large-scale glass manifestations were also supplied to support navigation, zoning and privacy within this community space.
collaborative delivery
Norsign worked collaboratively with Kier Group to coordinate design development, manufacture and installation sequencing within a live construction environment. Early engagement ensured structural supports, power requirements and fixing methods were fully resolved prior to installation.
Installation works included access equipment for large external projecting signage and careful coordination with other trades to ensure safe delivery and programme alignment. This collaborative approach supported a smooth handover and ensured all signage was installed in line with the architectural intent and operational requirements of the building.
