Lytham St Annes High School underwent a major redevelopment to create a modern, welcoming environment for students and staff as part of DfE’s Schools Rebuilding Programme.
design integration
As part of the build, Norsign Group Ltd were appointed by Wates Group to design, manufacture, and install a complete signage package that enhanced the school’s visual identity and supported accessibility across the campus.
Our scope included the production of large format internal wall graphics for key recreation and social areas, designed to create vibrant and inspiring spaces for pupils. Internal and external wayfinding signage was carefully planned to ensure clear navigation throughout the school, aligning with the architectural layout and circulation routes. Externally, built up text signage provided a strong visual identity, reinforcing the school’s presence within the community and ensuring long-term durability.
collaborative delivery
Working closely with the Wates delivery team and the school’s representatives, Norsign coordinated every phase from design development through to installation.
Early engagement ensured that fixing methods, materials, and finishes aligned with site conditions and project specifications.
Our installation teams worked safely and efficiently, adhering to programme milestones and maintaining clear communication with other trades to minimise disruption during final handover.
Following completion, Norsign has continued to supply signage directly to the school, supporting ongoing updates and additional requirements.
