A modern student accommodation development delivered for iQSA at Cullen House, Glasgow, constructed by Graham Construction. The project required a unified sign package that worked across external branding, internal wayfinding, and feature elements to support both navigation and resident experience.
integrated design
Norsign developed and delivered a fully integrated signage scheme that balanced strong external brand presence with clear internal navigation.
Externally, the package included built up illuminated lettering and logo elements positioned above the main entrance and at four additional high level locations. These installations were designed to provide visibility from distance. Illumination levels, fixing methods, and overall proportions were carefully developed to ensure the signage integrated with the building while remaining clearly visible.
Internally, a coordinated wayfinding system was introduced throughout the building. This provided clear, consistent navigation for residents and visitors, using durable materials and clean layouts suited to a high traffic environment.
Feature neon elements were also incorporated to enhance communal spaces, adding character within social areas of the building.

Norsign worked closely with Graham Construction throughout the programme to coordinate design, manufacture, and installation.
High level external signage required detailed planning, including access strategy, structural coordination, and safe installation at height. All elements were manufactured with a high level of precision to ensure efficient installation and long term durability.
Internally, installation was phased to align with programme constraints, maintaining progress while minimising disruption to other trades. Collaboration with the main contractor ensured all signage elements were delivered, installed, and completed in line with programme requirements and quality expectations.
