typography and size
Simple, sans-serif typefaces improve readability at distance. Our designers specify character heights and spacing suited to each environment from long corridors to reception walls ensuring text remains clear and consistent throughout.
braille and tactile features
Tactile and braille details allow people with visual impairments to navigate independently. All tactile lettering is raised to the correct depth and positioned at a comfortable reach height, in accordance with accessibility standards.
lighting and placement
Lighting can transform legibility. We consider ambient and directional lighting during design to ensure signs are easy to read from any angle. Positioning is also key signs must be at the right height, within reach, and logically located to support intuitive wayfinding.
